How can I be sure to get the best possible 4D pictures?
By increasing fluid intake a few days prior to appointment. This will help ensure plenty of amniotic fluid. About 30 minutes prior to session drink fruit juice to awaken baby unless you have been advised not to by your physician.
What determines the quality of images, and what if we are unable to obtain images?
Fetal position and water! They both highly impact image quality. We have techniques to attempt to get the baby to move.
If we are unable to obtain images, you may be asked to reschedule and return for a second appointment within 14 days.
